Sankofa Life Solutions, PLLC is looking for a compassionate and self-motivated therapist to join our outpatient mental health private practice.
We are looking for an independent contractor that is efficient in managing their own caseload and providing excellent guidance and commitment to their clients.

Sankofa Life Solutions is located in beautiful downtown Belleville, Michigan, giving our clients a therapeutic water-front view right from our office. We also offer the opportunity for therapists to work using electronic Teletherapy in order to flexibly and easily reach clients during this pandemic. Our practice caters to individuals (children and adults), families, and couples. Inclusivity is a pillar of our organization. What we are looking for:
A counselor who has at least a Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work (or related field) fully licensed in the State of Michigan (LPC, LP, or LMSW).
Have the qualifications to become contracted with insurance companies and be eligible for insurance reimbursement.
Be able to dedicate at least 15 hours of clinical hours a week to serving clients.
Have the ability to work with diverse populations including various age groups and personalities.
Would describe themselves as empathetic, self-sufficient, organized, and compassionate.
Have at least 2 years of experience working in the mental health field.
Must have professional liability insurance.
Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and/or weekends.
Additional Preference (Not Required):
Experience in and ability to administer neuropsychological testing
